Extreme Fishing Puerto Rico

Paul & Capt. Javier had a great afternoon trip aboard the EXTREMIST yesterday. They caught 2 kingfish, some yellowtail snappers, a nice almaco jack and then they ended the trip with a nice tarpon!

Great trip this morning with Greg & Rick aboard the EXTREMIST this morning. We released 6 tarpon out of 12 bites and caught 2 nice snook!

2016 Roundup

We are getting near the end of yet another great year of fishing at Extreme Fishing Puerto Rico. As of today we have released over 500 tarpon and we still have a couple of weeks to go to close out the year! Our traditional spring and fall runs of big tarpon did not disappoint and there were loads of small to medium size silver kings in between. The summer night time fishery also provided some excellent action with big tarpon. These numbers were posted even with the decline of tourism on the island this year because of the mosquito virus scare. We lost many reservations this year due to bad publicity towards our island and bad information passed around by the media. I guarantee you things are as usual here in Puerto Rico and the fishing is as good as ever! We are looking forward to a great 2017 with our great sponsors: SHIMANO, ST. CROIX RODS, MAUI JIM, FATHOM OFFSHORE, FATHOM INSHORE and SQUIDNATION! Hoping you all have a very Merry Christmas and a great 2017! Tight lines, Capt. Juan.
